Password too long.　パスワードが長過ぎる。

I just got an account with Shutterfly and was eager to try out this iPhone app. Whenever I try to log on using my password, it says that the password is too long (needs to be 4 - 10 characters without spaces). The only problem is that I can log in just fine on their regular website, so why should it not work on the iPhone? I know I could just change my password, but why should I have to?

Shutterflyのアカウントをついさっき作って、iPhone用のアプリも試してみようかと思ったら自分が使用しているパスワードが長過ぎるせいでログインできないエラーが起きました。パスワードを変えれば良い訳ですが、なんか納得いかないので変えません（笑
